Partner Relationship Manager – Kenya

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, attract, and onboard new partners while retaining, nurturing, and expanding relationships with existing ones
  • Build and manage a portfolio of mid- to high-level company partners
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners—addressing their needs, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring they receive full support in achieving their business objectives
  • Ensure full compliance with business, regulatory, and brand guidelines
  • Develop and implement market development strategies, including collaborative initiatives with internal teams such as marketing, loyalty campaigns, and events
  • Represent the company at industry events, including expos, conventions, training sessions, and seminars; this may involve occasional short-term travel
  • Support both new and existing partners in increasing their trading volume in USD
  • Consistently meet and exceed KPIs set by management, with a strong focus on driving business growth and surpassing targets

Requirements

  • Over 3 years of experience in Sales, Partnerships, and/or Business Development within a financial services company working for Kenya country
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced, global, and multilingual environment
  • Proven experience in achieving results in international markets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage confidently at all organizational levels and with diverse client profiles (both retail and institutional)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a holistic vision for business development
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and dependability
  • Excellent team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build consensus
